BAHRAIN: Tamkeen, the Bahrain Labour Fund, recently announced the completion of the Market Gaps study, conducted by D&B South Asia Middle East.

The study provided an in depth examination of the value chains and industry structures of each sector to establish the prevalence of market gaps and identify the extent of existing and potential market activity. The study is the first of its kind in GCC and Tamkeen will utilise the outcomes to formulate and fine tune strategic approaches to its programme portfolio and its business productivity and entrepreneurial support stream in particular.

D&B provides Tamkeen with a unique proposition combining SME expertise and ratings of companies for credit and lending purposes, along with operational and market insights required for maximizing business value through improved processes and systems.
